Couple arrested following romantic incident

A Marathon couple was arrested Monday following a romantic interlude with a third person that turned violent. There were no serious injuries reported.

Steven Lopez, 31, was charged with throwing a cinder block into an occupied conveyance.

Angela Viviana Velez Vazquez, 20, was charged with battery.

The 29-year-old female victim stated there was a disagreement while the three were in bed at the suspect’s residence. The victim stated she was struck by both suspects and that Lopez threw a cinder block through her vehicle’s rear window.

The suspects were booked into jail.
