Construction in Tavernier to impact traffic 

Motorists on U.S. 1 should give themselves extra time to get through Tavernier on U.S. 1 this week due to construction at Mile Marker 91 near Tavernier Creek Bridge.

Construction is slowing traffic between the hours of 9 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.

Morning traffic through Tavernier is typically heavy and it should be even more so for the remainder of the week between the hours stated above.
