Comedy Key West at BottleCap

Comedy Key West presents professional standup comedians, Jessimae Peluso and Samantha Ruddy. They perform after talented local comics warm up the stage at The BottleCap.

Jessimae Peluso performs on Thursday and Friday, May 30th  and 31st. Syracuse native, Jessimae Peluso, appeared on MTV’s “Girl Code” and “Safe Word”, TBS’s “Deal With It”, NBC’s “Last Call w/Carson Daly”, E!’s “Chelsea Lately”, FOX’s “World’s Funniest Fails”, VH1’s “Hip Hop Squares”, AXS’ “Gotham Live”, TruTV’s “Comedy Knockout”, and multiple appearances on Comedy Central’s late great panel show, “@Midnight. Jessimae can be heard weekly hosting podcasts and on her Instagram and Facebook show “Weedsday”, sponsored by High Time. She was featured in the Moontower Comedy Festival, New York Comedy Festival, Boston Comedy Festival, North Carolina Comedy & Arts Festival, Just For Laughs and was featured on Kevin Hart’s LOL Live network. Jessimae has contributed to multiple magazines and publications, and was highlighted in Huffington Post as ‘one of the funniest comics to follow on Twitter’.

Samantha Ruddy performs on Thursday and Friday, June 6th and 7th. Samantha has performed stand-up on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, headlined Carolines on Broadway, and appeared in videos for Comedy Central–all before her 27th birthday! She has also performed at national comedy festivals including the New York Comedy Festival, San Francisco Sketchfest, and High Plains Comedy Festival. Brooklyn Magazine called her one of Brooklyn’s 50 Funniest People, BUST says she’s a comic “you should be obsessed with,” and Vulture recently featured her for “Follow Friday.” Samantha is a skilled joke writer and her comedy is clever, disarming, and sly.
