College to hold virtual info session for future students

KEY WEST, FL, July 14, 2020—The College of the Florida Keys (CFK) invites community members to learn more about college opportunities and support resources available locally at CFK through a virtual information session on Tuesday, July 21 at 5:30 p.m. CFK’s fall semester, which will include online and in-person classes, begins August 19. Topics to be covered at the virtual information session include:

  • Academic programs, including bachelor’s degrees in business, hospitality, marine science, and nursing
  • Career training programs, including tuition-free construction technologies apprenticeships
  • Guaranteed transfer to Florida universities with an Associate in Arts degree
  • Paying for college: cost comparisons, financial aid, scholarships, payment plans
  • New campus safety protocols
  • Steps to become a CFK student
