The CoffeeMill’s ‘Young Dance Collective’ presents an Evening of Dance at the Tennessee Williams Theater Wednesday, March 21 at 7:30p!
The CoffeeMill Dance Studio’s student company the ‘Young Dance Collective’ along with visiting guest artist Mary Kay Cottrill, will perform an extraordinary evening of dance featuring excerpts from the ballet “Paquita” PLUS other works from their repertoire under the direction of Joseph Goodman. Original choreography by company member Tori Gregg with music composed by student musician Krzysztof Madro will also be presented.
The YDC is a pre-professional student dance company comprised of students who take up to 6 days of classes per week and have a desire to dedicate additional time to rehearse and perform. They have danced throughout the community in venues such as street fairs, nursing homes, Fantasy Fest’s Children’s Day, Coronation and in performances at the Tennessee Williams Theatre. The company travels to dance workshops and competitions where they received scholarships and gold standard awards. This season’s young dancers are Vivian Carper, Katiana Casler, Ryan Fossum, Tori Gregg, Madison Harding, Reese Kight, Isabella Nodal, Alannah Shanle, Nela Sulak, Ella Toppino and Noelle Rivas.
Come enjoy some beautiful dance and help this company grow! Proceeds from this concert will go towards helping the company reach its goal of becoming non profit.
