CoffeeMill Dance Studio expands class offerings for adults and children: Registration now open
CoffeeMill Dance Studio, Key West’s premier instructional dance studio for over 35 years, kicks off their Winter/Spring season with a new, expanded class schedule of professional and recreational children’s and adult dance and fitness classes at their two state-of-the-art studios—’By the Bay’ at 3340 North Roosevelt Blvd. #2 and ‘The Annex’ at 804 White Street, their new location that offers two dance spaces.
“We are accepting new students and have welcoming, no stress, new, drop-in classes available for everyone of all ages, levels, and abilities,” says CoffeeMill Director Penny Leto.
A cultural haven in the dance community, the Coffee Mill offers professional dance and fitness instruction to all ages and skill levels with a wide array of weekly class offerings: Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Modern, Contemporary, Tap, Lyrical, HipHop, Towards Ballet and Hippity Hop for our tiniest dancers, Musical Theatre, Bellydance, African Dance, Capoeira, Yoga, Zumba®, Tai Chi/Qi Gong, Yoga, Jazzercise®, Lambada, Latin Dance, Essentrics, Gymnastics, and new Aerial Yoga classes with Monica Matroci and Pole Fitness classes with Joseph Goodman. They are home to Young Dance Collective (YDC), CoffeeMill’s newly-formed non-profit dance company comprised of student dancers ages 8-17 that have already garnered numerous awards at NUVO Dance Competition in Orlando. And CoffeeMill instructors also offer private lessons, dance workshops, choreography services, performance opportunities, and wedding dance instruction.
“The CoffeeMill Dance Studio has been teaching all styles of dance to Key Westers and visitors since 1983 and strives to provide a fun and encouraging learning environment through quality instruction and a varied class schedule,” says Leto. “Whether you’ve been dancing for years, are just starting out, are looking to get back into it, or are just looking for a fun alternative to your normal workout routine, there is a class for you.”
