City of Key West / Walk-Through Wednesdays

On April 17th, residents and contractors will find an added convenience in the City’s Building Department.

Walk-Through Wednesdays will offer expedited permitting between 7:30 and 11:30 a.m.

Permits for interior work like non-structural interior remodeling, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, HARC painting and minor repairs as well as the extension of expired permits will be expedited on Walk-Through Wednesdays.

Gerzale Hill is just one of the friendly faces eager to expedite your building permits on the new Walk-Through Wednesday.

Applicants can use the convenient simplified check list available and permit application available on the City’s web site at www.cityofkeywest-fl.gov. Just click on the Building Department link.

Completed forms should be brought to the service counter at the rear of City Hall, 1300 White Street. If the permit application is in order, applicants can expect to leave with an approved permit card.
