CFFK to Host Unsung Heroes Virtual Celebration on Feb. 5th

The Community Foundation of the Florida Keys (CFFK) will honor the efforts of volunteers from more than 80 Keys nonprofits at the Unsung Heroes Virtual Celebration on February 5th at noon. The free virtual event, sponsored by the Lower Keys Medical Center, will be livestreamed on CFFK’s page on Facebook and at cffk.org. No reservations are necessary.

In addition to shining the spotlight on our community’s volunteers of the year, nominated by nonprofit organizations throughout the Keys, the virtual event will feature national presenter Dr. Sara Konrath with the Indiana University School of Philanthropy. Dr. Konrath will share the surprising reasons why giving is good for people and can actually help improve their health.
