Burglary Suspect Arrested

The Key West Police Department recently issued a BOLO — be on the lookout – for Williams Alonso, who was wanted for burglary charges. Many social media followers will recognize him by the distinct “Cuba” tattoo on the back of his neck.

On the morning of July 27th, an MCSO deputy located Alonso leaving Dion’s on Stock Island and notified Key West Police. Key West Police Detective J.W. Waite responded and arrested Alonso on a number of burglary cases.

During Alonso’s arrest, he had a stolen backpack that contained several items identified as stolen and more items that are believed to be stolen. Alonso is suspected of committing multiple vehicle burglaries during the past week or so in the City of Key West.

Key West Police are attempting to locate victims of the burglaries in which items such as, Apple Watches and a Garmin watch were stolen. If you have any information or are a possible victim, notify the Key West Police Department at 305-809-1015.
