Bidding Wallace a Fond Farewell
During Tuesday’s City Commission meeting, Assistant City Attorney Ron Ramsingh presented George Wallace a plaque in honor of the gratitude the City has for his dedicated years of service.
Wallace is stepping down from his position assistant city attorney after nearly six years with the City.
He started in 2016 after 35 years of private practice. During his tenure, Wallace has played a substantial role in many planning oriented legal decisions and litigation.
Ramsingh noted that he, Wallace, and City Attorney Shawn Smith are all rabid Gator fans. Since Wallace is remaining in the Keys, he said he looks forward to continuing their tradition of watching the University of Florida football games under Wallace’s tiki.
“From the bottom of our hearts we wish you all the best, George,” said Ramsingh. “You’ll be missed.”
