Author Linda Ditmmar will talk about her new memoir, “Tracing Homelands: Isreal, Palestine and the Claims of Belonging,” at 6 p.m., Wed., Mar. 6, at the Key West Public Library, 700 Fleming St.
Growing into Israeli adulthood, Linda Dittmar witnessed the traumatic effects of both the Jews’ Holocaust and the Palestinians’ Nakba. In the U.S. since 1961, she received her Ph.D. from Stanford University, taught literature and film studies at the University of Massachusetts Boston, and had visiting lectureships in Tel Aviv, India, and elsewhere.
A book signing will follow the presentation, and copies of the new novel will be available for purchase. Free to attend. Seating is limited.
