Atlantic Coral Harbor and Ocean Reef are newest Level 6 Donors
The Board of Directors of FIRM thanks the Atlantic Coral Harbor Condominium Association in Islamorada and the Ocean Reef Community Association in Key Largo for their generous donations in the amount of $1,000.00 each, making them our newest Level 6 Donors.
Members of FIRM’s Board of Directors have been reaching out to community leaders and organizations for support with its ongoing mission to fight for fair windstorm and flood insurance rates for the residents of Monroe County. As we all continue to recover from Hurricane Irma, FIRM asserts that affordable insurance is an essential factor of the cost of living in the Florida Keys. “FIRM especially appreciates the support of homeowners associations, because they demonstrate the community spirit behind our mission,” explained Montagne. “At FIRM we believe that the strong sens of community in Monroe County and the commitment to our common goals are crucial and will continue to make our efforts successful. We are extremely grateful for the support of the owners of Atlantic Coral Harbor and Ocean Reef.”
FIRM is a non-partisan grassroots organization formed to fight for fair property insurance rates for property owners and residents of Monroe County, Florida. FIRM was successful in securing a 2018 residential windstorm insurance rate freeze for Monroe County, which will save County policyholders approximately $4 million in 2018 alone.
