The City of Key West Transit offers a safe way to enjoy New Year’s Eve this year. Let Key West Transit’s Safe Ride do the driving! All routes and services will operate as normal throughout the day. The shuttles begin at 5 p.m. on Sunday, December 31, and run continuously until 1:30 a.m. Fare is just $2 per trip on the local route and $4 per trip for the Lower Keys Shuttle.

The Safe Ride shuttles cover Key West and Stock Island, and the Lower Keys Shuttle between Marathon and Key West. The downtown drop-off and pickup point is the bus stop in front of Fausto’s at 522 Fleming Street. There will be no service west of Simonton Street after 5 p.m.

The final Lower Keys shuttle departs Key West at 1:30 a.m, and departure trips after 7 p.m. will vary depending on the circumstances.

The Duval Loop’s final departure will be at 12:30 a.m. The frequency of service between 10 p.m. and that final pickup will vary due to circumstances beyond our control.
