For more on Adrienne Z…

Adrienne Z is a Singer/Songwriter, Performer, Arranger and Producer originally from Massachusetts. Compared to singers like Norah Jones, Sheryl Crow, and Stevie Nicks, Adrienne’s voice is pure emotion, stylistically elegant, soulful, and ethereal. Recently Adrienne began writing music for Film and TV and has landed placements in ads for Samsung and Deloitte and her music can be heard on the Lifetime Movie Network. Adrienne’s released 7 albums, 9 singles, was nominated at both the Boston Music Awards and the Key West Music Awards and is currently performing live while building her Film and TV catalog in her home studio in the Florida Keys.

Early in her music career, Adrienne achieved local success in the metro Boston area both in local clubs and busking the streets of Harvard Square Cambridge. After producing her first release, One Step Closer, her song “Overboard” became the most requested song on college radio station WERS. Soon after producing her second release, “Dust into Dawn”, she was nominated for a Boston Music Award and featured in Boston Women Magazine. After her third release, Looking Within Looking Without,” she got heavy airplay on college radio and a feature article in Songtalk Magazine published by the National Academy of Songwriters where they called Adrienne an “enchanting and exquisite talent.” She soon joined forces with fellow singer songwriter Marsia Shuron Harris aka Mother Turtle and together they performed throughout the Keys and New England in the duo Aye. Their album “Sweet Life” became an underground hit and was chosen as 1 of the top 10 albums by the Greenfield Recorder. Aye received stellar reviews in Northeast Performer Magazine, The Boston Globe, The Key West Citizen and Key West the Newspaper, to name a few.

Jack Smith from Pirate radio says, “Her first single Blue Day was an instant hit on my station Pirate Radio and still a top five airplay request since the day we started playing it.” Bill Hoebee from the Wail and Sun FM says, “Working in the music biz for over 25 years you hear a lot of artists that if the DJ didn’t tell you who it was – you wouldn’t know. With Adrienne you can tell immediately. Her music and attitude are amazing!” “Sean Heaney, former contributing writer for Songtalk Magazine summed up Adrienne’s music in the article put out by the National Academy of Songwriters, “The way her audience listens to her songs is perhaps the highest compliment paid to her engaging song stories.”

Currently Adrienne is writing music, performing live and producing her 8th album in her home studio Conchtown Sounds.
