Robert the Doll’s Frightful Fantasy Façade Contest Winners Announced

Each year Key West guesthouses, businesses and private homes creep out their cribs and compete for cash prizes in community facades decorating extravaganza. This year the following winners have scored a total of $2600 in prize dollars in “Robert the Doll’s Frightful Fantasy Façade Contest:

  • Spooktacular Showstopper Prize: The Stockton household at 2912 Staples Ave. for their entry, “Something Spooky on Staples.”
  • Best of Fest Prize: The Artist House at 534 Eaton St. for “Artist Neon.”
  • Hangman’s Choice Prize: The Fernandez household at 529 Simonton St. for “The Greatest Decade on Earth.”
  • The Ghoulish Grandeur Prize: “We Be Fit” at 1277 1st St. for “Bone-i-fied Masterpieces.”
  • Terrifying Triumph Prize: The Seal and Cabrera household at 2807 Staples Ave. for “Roberts Birthday Party at the Doll House.”
  • Eerie Excellence Prize: The Wicker Guesthouse at 913 Duval St., for “Black Light Gala.”
  • Roberts Doll Prize: The Ramsingh household at 2812 Staples for “Robert is on Staples.”
  • Monstrous Masterpiece Prize: The Craig household at 713 Waddell Ave. for “Robert Did It!”
  • Bucket of Blood Prize: The Arnold Household at 3231 Harriet Ave. for “The New Boo’s On the Block.”
  • The Great Pumpkin Prize: The Matlock household at 805 Truman Ave. for “Hauntings on Truman.”

Façade viewers are invited to visit all 36 competition locations around Key West and place a vote online for your “Community Favorite.” Voting polls are open from Oct. 24-Oct. 29; the location scoring the most votes will win a prize package filled with some of Robert the Doll’s most favorite things in the universe.
