Hurricane Helene Status Update

3 p.m. City of Key West Update:

Al Key West transit service, including the Lower Keys Shuttle, is suspended Thursday, September 26th.

Key West City Hall will be closed; fire and police service will continue. All scheduled City board and commission meetings will be rescheduled.

The John Jones Navigation Center (formerly KOTS) at 5537 College Road is available as shelter for liveaboard residents. Please bring photo ID.

There will be no trash collection on Thursday. Collections for Thursday customer will occur on Friday and collections normally scheduled for Friday will occur on Saturday.

The City of Key West is providing sandbags at Boog Powell Court, off 14th Street at the ballfields. Members of the community concerned about possible flooding are urged to help themselves. You must fill your own bags.
