Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary invites public to attend Advisory Council meeting in Marathon

Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary Advisory Council will meet at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, August 20, in Marathon, Florida. The council will discuss current summer temperatures and water conditions, as well as hear from law enforcement partners on this year’s lobster season outreach and enforcement efforts. Sanctuary staff will present new education tools for the FKNMS buoy program, and ask the council to discuss opportunities to further these messages. A public comment opportunity will be offered at approximately 11:45 a.m.
