Household Hazardous Waste and E-Waste drop off event cancelled for Saturday, August 3 due to weather concerns 

Key West, Fla. – Augst 2, 2024 –  The monthly free drop off for household hazardous waste and e-waste scheduled for Saturday, August 3 at Indigenous Park has been cancelled due to the weather forecast of heavy rains and wind.

The City of Key West and WM will hold the next free drop off event on Saturday, September 7.

Items accepted will be household chemicals and electronics such as gasoline (in a leakproff container), oil, batteries, acids, cleaners, fertilizers, pool chemicals, TVs, microwaves, gaming systems, phones, computers and accessories, remote controls, etc.

Household garbage or appliances will not be accepted.
