Two arrested on drug charges

Two people from Marathon, Florida, were arrested for crack cocaine possession following a traffic stop Monday.

  • Stephenson Antoine Foster, 63, was charged with possession of crack cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Jasmine Janay Laster, 33, was charged with possession of cocaine with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving with a suspended license.

Both suspects were stopped on U.S. 1 near 73rd Street in Marathon at approximately 11:15 p.m. after the Sheriff’s Office observed Laster driving, knowing she has a suspended license.

Approximately 4.2 grams of crack cocaine and various drug paraphernalia was subsequently found.
