Suspected drugs found
A package of suspected cocaine was found on a beach at approximately 11:15 a.m. Thursday near Mile Marker 81 in Islamorada.
The package was turned over to the U.S. Border Patrol.

Motorist arrested on fraud/larceny charges
A 42-year-old Davie, Florida woman was arrested Wednesday following a traffic stop on U.S. 1 in which forged and fake driver’s licenses were found as well as stolen credit cards.
Andrea Gwen Armold was charged with driving with a suspended/revoked license, possession of six stolen credit cards, possession of medication without a prescription, possession of fake driver’s licenses, and operating a motor vehicle with expired registration.
The Sheriff’s Office stopped a Ford SUV near Mile Marker 101 at approximately 4:12 p.m. for an expired tag. The driver, Armold, is on probation for fraud. The above items were found in the subsequent search.
