Two men arrested for robbery/battery  

Two Key West, Florida men were arrested Monday for attacking and robbing a man along the golf course/U.S. 1 fence line on Stock Island.

John Christopher Grady, 53, and Michael Steven Murray, 49, were both charged with aggravated battery as well as robbery following a Sheriff’s Office investigation.

The 52-year-old victim was taken to Lower Keys Medical Center on Stock Island — he suffered a concussion, broken nose, and two black eyes following the 5:10 p.m., July 5, 2024, incident in which his wallet containing credit cards and approximately $200 in cash were stolen by the suspects.
