Key West Artisan Market ReMARCable Edition Sunday, February 25
The Key West Artisan Market: ReMARCable Edition on Sunday, February 25 celebrates the Monroe Association for ReMARCable Citizens, a non-profit agency that serves adult clients within Monroe County who have developmental disabilities. Meet some of their staff, volunteers and clients, from 10 am to 2 pm at Clarence H. Higgs Memorial Beach, Key West and support their mission. The event is located in the parking lot at Sonny Mccoy Indigenous Park, 1801 White Street, across from White Street Pier.
The Market offers bloody marys, mimosas along with a full bar, coffee, natural juices and cut fruit, plus multiple food stalls offering eat-here or take-away. Shop a curated outdoor market offering fine crafts, art and jewelry from talented Florida Keys makers. Stock the pantry and fridge with fresh produce, artisan cheeses, local seafood, honey, pickles, pastries, cigars, soaps and much more. Bring a lawn chair and listen to awesome musicians and support the featured charities.
The pet friendly market is conveniently located close to the Higgs Beach Dog Park, free West Martello Tower botanical gardens, White Street Pier and the Atlantic ocean across the street at Higgs Beach. Open 10 am to 2 pm every Sunday in February, March and April by locals, for locals. The event offers free entry and ample free parking. Guests are encouraged to ride bikes and BYOB (bring your own bags).
The Key West Wildlife Center will not be open in preparation for their annual “It’s For The Bird’s” Benefit at West Martello Tower, 1100 Atlantic Blvd. later on Sunday from 3:00 to 5:30. The public is invited to this important fundraiser with advance tickets for $40 and available online at www.keywestwildlifecenter.com or at the door for $45.
