Juvenile arrested in gun case

A 15-year-old Marathon, Florida male was arrested Tuesday for illegal firearm possession as part of an ongoing Sheriff’s Office investigation.

Josiah Keyon Williams was seen on social media brandishing a handgun, a shotgun, and various forms of ammunition as part of a Sheriff’s Office investigation that began when Detectives received information regarding illegal gun sales in Marathon.

Williams joins four others arrested since October.

Those arrested previously were:

  • Jorge Efren Gonzalez, 17, was charged with dealing in stolen property, selling a firearm with an altered/removed serial number, illegal open carry of weapons, and conspiracy.
  • Mikele Rocafort Carciani, 19, was charged with conspiracy and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
  • Andrew Jonathan Pena, 22, was charged with conspiracy and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
  • Martin Luther Kilbourne, 19, was charged with making threats to law enforcement, resisting arrest, and breaking law enforcement equipment.
