Man arrested for battery/child abuse  

A 27-year-old Ramrod Key, Florida man was arrested Friday following a violent domestic incident in which a woman and a child were injured.

Malik Angel Krieger was charged with multiple counts of battery, including battery by strangulation, and aggravated child abuse.

The Sheriff’s Office was called to the Ramrod Key residence at approximately 5:43 p.m.

The investigation showed Krieger choked and hit a 37-year-old female in the face and head multiple times with a closed fist during an argument. He also struck an 11-year-old male in the face with a closed fist multiple times and pushed a 14-year-old female into a wall.

Injuries to the victims corroborated their descriptions of the incident. There were no life-threatening injuries reported. Krieger was taken to jail.
