Nature as Art Creative Writing Workshop at Key West Tropical Forest

KEY WEST, Florida Keys – The Nature as Art creative writing workshop will be held on Saturday April 8, 2023 in the Garden’s Toppino Nature Chapel from 1:00 – 3:00 PM.  The workshop will give participants the opportunity to explore the Tropical Forest and Botanical Gardens with writer, Kristina Neihouse and will be a

generative, all-weather workshop.  Inspirational quotes and prompts will be provided before participants go out into the Garden.  The goal of the workshop will be to write, and share, if desired. The space provided will

be supportive, positive, and inspiring.  Feedback for further development of pieces will be available by request. Sharing is not a requirement. The only requirement is to show up, be in nature and write.

Kristina is the Director of the Learning Resource Center at The College of the Florida Keys.  She is an avid reader, writer, tree hugger and cat cuddler.   Registration is required, $10 per person.  Please bring your own writing supplies.
