Alex, you are soooo spot on. Cheney should hardly be the one to accuse Obama of treason when he and his cohorts exposed CIA agent, Valerie Plame for political expediency to punish her outspoken ambassador husband (not to mention lying about weapons of mass destruction to draw us into a war that destabilized the region as you mentioned). It is shameful that some members of the military are being accused of/imprisoned for treason while Dick & Co. go free and their scapegoat, Scooter Libbby, though convicted gets a presidential PARDON! In your face, America! It only takes a Bush, a Dick and a Colin (or Colon?) to destroy the not only the country but the world. Notwithstanding, we ignore all that yet complain about Obama trying to help the middle class and common Americans. BTW, has there been any public thanks and praise for Obama when gas prices dropped dramatically? There was surely enough complaining and finger-pointing when the prices were over $4/gallon.
I hate to say it but the ignorance and apathy of the American voter is dooming this country. Folks don’t get the fact that you’re not voting for a person, you’re voting for the ideology that his party represents. The party runs the candidate.
