SOLID WASTE: No Bulk Pick-up Scheduled for Stock Island through Ocean Reef

CURRENTLY, THERE IS NOT A BULK PICK-UP SCHEDULED FOR STOCK ISLAND THROUGH OCEAN REEF. HOWEVER, IF THERE IS A BULKY ITEM LIKE A COUCH, DRESSER, MATTRESS, OR APPLIANCE, PLEASE CONTACT YOUR HAULER TO SCHEDULE A BULK PICK-UP.

Please do not place bulk items curbside without first calling your hauler to schedule a pick-up.

Yard waste should be placed into cans or bundled as normal.

“We are assessing the situation to see if our debris contract needs to be enacted,” said Monroe County Solid Waste Director Cheryl Sullivan.

Monroe County transfer stations are open under the regular fee schedule.
