Oldest House Museum and Garden joins Blue Star Museums

Key West, Florida, May 27, 2022 – The Oldest House Museum and Garden is proud to join the Blue Star Museums program a collaboration among the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, The Department of Defense, and participating museums across America. During the summer months, free admission is available to currently serving military personnel in the United States Military-Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard as well as members of the Reserves, National Guard, U.S. Public Health Commission Corps, NOAA Commissioned Corps and up to five family members. 

The program kicked off on Armed Forces Day last Saturday May 21, 2022 and ends on Labor Day, Monday September 5, 2022. In commemoration of Memorial Day we are proud to join the ever growing group of museums nationwide that participate in this very worthy program. The museum is proud to be part of Blue Star Museums, a national appreciation program to thank our military families for their service and share with them America’s cultural treasures.
