Valerie Hoh to present her final Key West art and couture show at The Gardens Hotel, one day only

Acclaimed artist Valerie Hoh will present the latest in her continually evolving Hoh Couture line of unique hand-crafted art clothing and accessories on Sunday, March 6, from 11:00am to 7:00pm at The Gardens Hotel, 526 Angela Street in Key West.

Hoh, an internationally recognized artist who was founder and proprietor of Pandemonium gallery, a longtime Duval Street destination, embraces a completely new genre every year or so to inspire her artistic expression, and since moving to Asheville, NC, in 2004, has returned to Key West regularly to spend time with old friends and present her latest creations.

While she missed coming back in 2021 due to the pandemic, she found the quarantine lock-down time allowed her an opportunity to explore previously untapped wells of creativity, resulting in three “wildly inventive” new collections. These in turn have resulted in a fresh influx of fans and collectors, a new gallery showcasing her works, and a flurry of press, including magazine cover and feature articles, and interviews on NPR and Fox News.

“Returning to Key West is always a high-point for me,” said Hoh, “and this year is going to be bitter-sweet, as my husband and I are preparing to make a leap to a new chapter of our lives – in Europe – and so this will be the finale in a long tradition of Key West events at The Gardens Hotel.”

The March 6 show will feature a mix of Hoh’s latest works along with some new takes on old favorites. Highlighting the event is the always-popular fashion show at 5.30pm with Leda Naomi Andrews and friends modeling, and jazz music by Peter Diamond. Attendees can avail themselves of The Gardens Hotel d’Vine wine bar or its full service bar.
