Laurie Thibaud New Host for Headdress Ball Mardi Gras Edition

The Key West Business Guild announces the appointment of comedienne and radio personality Laurie  Thibaud to emcee the special Mardi Gras Edition of the Headdress Ball to held on Saturday Evening, February 26, 8 PM, at the Coffee Butler Amphitheater.

Laurie is a New Jersey native and moved to Key West twenty-eight years ago. She has emceed and been involved in many community productions and fundraisers during her years here.  Best known for hosting the long time running iconic “Aqua Idol” which benefitted the Waterfront playhouse, she has recently emceed events for the Wounded Warriors, Real Men (and Women) Do Drag, and the Sister Season Fund. She is also an on air personality on WGAY Radio, 105.7FM, the Keys Party Station.

She states “I’m so honored to be asked to host the Headdress Ball.  This is one of the yearly events I have always wanted to be part of.”
