KWPD Adds Two New Officers
Key West Police Chief Sean Brandenburg on Tuesday swore two new officers into the Key West Police Department. Officer Andrea Bernatova has lived in Key West for several years and recently graduated the College of the Florida Keys Basic Law Enforcement Academy. Officer Erik Roberts comes from the Tallahassee area where he was a corrections sergeant. He is trained as a crossover officer in corrections and law enforcement.
The new officers join the recent graduates of the Basic Law Enforcement Academy who are now involved with their hands-on field training, which takes them out of the classroom and into real-time police work on the streets as officers.
