Building Dept to Hold Quarterly Public Meeting

The Key West Building Department will be convening a stakeholders quarterly meeting at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, October 6^th in the City Commission Chambers of City Hall, 1300 White St.

In July, Chief Building Official Raj Ramsingh convened two workshops to gather input from contractors, subcontractors, and the public at large in order to better streamline the permitting process.

During those workshops, he announced that quarterly meetings would follow, and this is the first. The community is invited to come hear how the changes they’ve suggested are working and provide input. The City is using all of this input to implement changes to ensure reliable, consistent permitting, inspections and plan reviews.
