Multiple Community COVID-19 Vaccination Events in Monroe County

(Monroe County, Fla.)—The State of Florida in partnership with multiple organizations in Monroe County are hosting community COVID-19 vaccination events.  All these events are offering the Pfizer vaccine, which those age 12 and older are eligible. Some events are also offering the Moderna and/or Johnson & Johnson (J&J) vaccines.

“Vaccination remains the best way to protect individuals from serious disease, hospitalization, and death,” said Dr. Mark Whiteside, Medical Director for the department.

Events are open to the public.  No appointments, walk-up only.  Those age 12-17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The events including type of vaccine offered follow:

  • August 25 from 10am-5pm: Wesley House (Pfizer, Moderna, and J&J) at 1304 Truman Ave, Key West
  • August 25 from 4pm-6pm: SOS Food Pantry (Pfizer) at 5640 Maloney Ave, Key West
  • August 27 from 9am-4pm: Key West City Hall (Pfizer and J&J) at 1300 White St, Key West
  • August 27 from 9am-4pm: Marathon City Hall (Pfizer) at 9805 Overseas Hwy, Marathon
  • September 3 from 10am to 4pm: Key Largo Chamber of Commerce (Pfizer) at 106000 Overseas Hwy, Key Largo
  • September 4 from 9am to 2pm: Lower Keys Chamber of Commerce (Pfizer and J&J) at 31020 Overseas Hwy, Big Pine Key
