Ongoing Events:

Aqua Idol every Tuesday through Oct. 14, 6 – 8 p.m.– Support the candidates’ singers at Aqua Nightclub, 711 Duval St.  75% of the monies collected will be split among the candidates and 25% would go to the campaign for which the winner is representing.  All monies will be donated to AIDS Help.  Free to attend.  All Candidates

Drag Queen Bingo at 801 Cabaret every Sunday through Oct. 12, 5 p.m.– Bingo at 801 Bourbon will divide all proceeds equally among the candidates.  All Candidates

Thursday, Oct. 2, 6 – 8 p.m.– Tropical Escapades & Trances, the Annual All Candidates Bash at the Bourbon St. Pub, 724 Duval St. Join all of the candidates at this Meet & Greet Party! A $25 donation gets you into the party and the chance to vote for your favorite candidate.

Saturday, Oct. 4, 6 – 9 p.m.– Royal Ball at the Gardens Hotel, 526 Angela St.  Mingle with current and former Royalty.  Music by Skipper Kriptiz and his band.  Food by the Iron Chefs.  Admission $50 per person. Contact Jeremy Wilkerson, 305-440-2300, for reservations

Thursday, Oct. 16, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. – Key West Innkeepers Association’s Annual All-Candidates Party at Aqua. Entry fee is a suggest donation of $10. All proceeds will be split evenly among this year’s candidates.

Friday, Oct. 17, 6 – 10 p.m.– The Coronation Ball “Tropical Escapades and Trances”, at the Southernmost Beach Café, 1405 Duval St.  $5 admission gets one free vote.  $50 priority seating includes one vote and buffet.  For VIP seating reservations, visit www.aidshelp.cc.

Wednesday, Oct. 8, 6 p.m.VIP seating, Show time 7 p.m.- Criss Cross showing at The Eaton St Theater, 522 Eaton St. The Movie was filmed in Key West, starring Goldie Hawn, who plays Julie in the movie. Wednesday, Oct. 8, 6 – 8 p.m.- Mask and Wig Auction, $5 for Auction Paddle. Bid on the most fantastic wigs and masks created by Key West stylists and artists in a live and silent auction. Hosted by Cheryl and Craig Cates. Shane for King

Wednesday, Oct. 8, 10 p.m.- 1st Full Moon of the Season, Upstairs of Bagatelle Restaurant, 115 Duval St. $20 General Admission. Theme to be announced later. Joe Weed for King

Friday, Oct. 10, 6– 9 p.m.- Chair Auction at Shameless Lounge, 610 Greene St. Sue Maurer has rounded up 20 sets of a table and chair painted by 20 different amazing artists in town. All to be Auctioned off. These sets are one of a kind. Free admission. Crown Jules for Queen

Friday, Oct. 10, 7 p.m.- A Most Unusual Prom, Little Room Jazz Club, 821 Duval St., $25 General Admission. This is a Red Carpet event. NYC backdrop. Joe Weed for King

Saturday, Oct. 11, 5:30 p.m. – Multi-Location Theme Dinner with “Clyde for King.” Various hosts will hold individual parties around the island, each with their own theme – Costumes encouraged. Party times range from 5:30 – 8:30. After Dinner Drinks at 8:45 (Location TBA) Prizes will be awarded for best theme costume and for the host who raises the most money for the cause. Free admission. Saturday, Oct. 11, 5:30-8:30 p.m . – Calling All Party Divas! Queen Fizz started this event when she asked people to host their own parties to raise funds for her campaign. She graciously passed on this event to the Clyde for King CampaignWant to help Clyde raise money for AIDS Help? Then host your own fundraising party. You pick the theme, the location, pick your guests and you pick the way you want to raise money. There will be guest judges and prizes will be awarded to the host/hostess who raises the most money, Most Outrageous Theme and Best Costumes. Saturday, Oct. 11, 7 p.m.- 1 a.m. – Second Chance Prom at the Marriott Beachfront Hotel; $75. Here’s that chance to attend the prom you missed the first time. Come dance the night away with that special someone. Vote for the Prom King and Queen with your dollars. Shane for King

Saturday, Oct. 11th, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.- Dog Wash with Halloween Photo Op at Faustos, Fleming St, $10, $20 or $30 (based on size of dog.)   A chance to Glam Up your best friend and have their picture taken too. Shane for King

Sunday, Oct. 12, 11a.m. – 1 p.m.– Beer & Bacon Brunch at Bistro Sole, 1019 White St. Enjoy tastings of craft beers and choose your favorite. Champagne and mimosas are available too. There will be dessert too. Chef and restaurateur John Correa, our gracious host, is coming up with some ideas that will leave you wanting more. Reservations suggested. $25 gets you craft beer tastings, 2 draft beers or 2 Mimosas and tastings of some of the yummiest bacon inspired dishes you can imagine. Clyde for King

Sunday, Oct. 12, 11a.m. – 2 p.m.– Brunch at Barry & Will Vineyard’s Brunch, $25. Pick your omelet ingredients from an array of meat and veggies prepared by Barry and Will. Enjoy brunch spread with fruits, muffins, bloody marys and mimosas. Enjoy great music, a wine tasting, and a chance to win your own mini winery to take home. Shane for King
