The Key West Chamber of Commerce showcases local black owned businesses during Black History Month
To celebrate Black History Month, the Key West Chamber of Commerce will proudly showcase local businesses owned and operated by impressive Black creators, designers, and entrepreneurs throughout February.
Visit the Chamber’s Facebook, Instagram and Twitter pages to learn about local black businesspeople who contribute to our community including Rebekah Ashe with Zubek Interiors, Onett Johnson with Shipwreck Treasures of the Keys, Chef Clive Thompson of One Love Food Truck and Jarvis Moore of Moore than Fades Barber Shop. Each week in February, the Chamber’s social media platforms will highlight successful black businesses owned and operated her in Key West and the Lower Florida Keys.
“I can’t think of a better way to celebrate National Black History Month in February” Chamber President Suzanne Moore said. “While the nation honors the contributions that African Americans have made to American history in their struggles for freedom and equality, the Chamber will honor local success stories of black business minded people in our community who are shining examples of people who make a positive impact to our business community and culture.”
