Walterson Promoted to Vice President, Marketing Manager

First State Bank congratulates Angie Walterson on her promotion to Vice President, Marketing Manager.

With over 25 years of banking experience, Walterson manages marketing, public relations, and communications for First State Bank of the Florida Keys. Walterson joined First State Bank in 1997 as a Marketing Assistant and was promoted to Marketing Officer, then to AVP/Communications & Public Relations Manager before assuming her current role. Her professional experience includes sales, retail banking, training, marketing, public relations, and advertising.

“Angie’s teamwork, positive attitude, enthusiasm, creativity and commitment to the Bank’s role in the community have supported the Bank’s success and helped us to remain relevant,” said President and CEO Karen Sharp. “She is always willing to help others and is a true team player.  We are proud to recognize her with this well-deserved promotion.”

The embodiment of the Keys’ Hometown Bank’s homegrown talent, Walterson is a graduate of Key West High School, College of the Florida Keys, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations from the University of Florida.
