Man who fled from Deputies identified

The man who fled from Deputies Friday morning in a stolen BMW X6 and then on foot has been identified as 31-year-old Marcus Terrell Parker of Florida City, Florida.

Parker was arrested following a brief pursuit on U.S. 1 at 9:30 a.m. near Mile Marker 101.

Parker then fled on foot and was quickly found and arrested with the help of neighbors who reported his location.

Parker was charged with grand theft of a motor vehicle, driving with no valid license, fleeing and eluding and resisting arrest.
