Keys History & Discovery Center Membership Drive’s Final Weeks
Join or Refer to Earn Chance to Win Exclusive Key West Excursion
Islamorada – During the final weeks of the Keys History & Discovery Center’s Spring Membership Drive participate and enjoy an active membership as soon as the doors reopen in mid-June. By joining before June 20, new members will be entered in a drawing for a one-of-a-kind Key West excursion and receive two additional months of membership, making the annual membership last for 14 months. The winning entry will be drawn live on our Facebook page on Saturday, June 20, 4 p.m.
For those who were once a member, by rejoining they will be entered in the drawing and receive two free months. Current members have chances to be entered in the drawing by referring new members and by upgrading their membership to a higher level.
The winning prize is an exclusive VIP Champagne tour of the Truman Little White House, an overnight stay for two at Wicker Guesthouse, A Duval Street Bed & Breakfast, plus day passes to the Key West Arts & Historical Society family of museums. These include Custom House, Lighthouse & Keeper’s Quarters, Fort East Martello, and Tennessee Williams Museum. Additional prizes will also be offered.
“While the Discovery Center has been closed, we quickly pivoted to virtual programming allowing members many opportunities to learn about the history and ecology of the Upper Keys using the existing exhibits within the museum,” said Executive Director Jill Miranda Baker. “With your new, reactivated or upgraded membership you can take advantage of unlimited admissions as well as many other benefits.”

A variety of membership levels exist, starting at $65 for an individual to the top level at $10,000 with the greatest benefits. By joining, members can enjoy several benefits including unlimited admissions, free lecture attendance, retail discounts and more. Membership levels at $1,000 and above offer additional benefits including complimentary guest passes, VIP invitations, opportunity for private tour with Curator Brad Bertelli, and free private use of the museum space and/or state-of-the-art theater.

Keys History & Discovery Center is a world-class museum that preserves and shares the incredible history of our Upper Keys community and explores the unique ecology of the region. In addition to permanent exhibits on subjects such as Henry Flagler’s Over-Sea Railway, Legends of the Line, First People, Indian Key circa 1840, Keys flats fishery, and Coral Reef Exploration, the Discovery Center offers a lecture series, educating the public through presentations from a variety of expert speakers. The museum’s second floor features a state-of-the-art theater showing documentaries on topics like the 1935 Labor Day Hurricane and the building of Flagler’s Railway, as well as traveling exhibits, and the Jerry Wilkinson Research Library.
