Each week will feature the content from a different museum exhibit kiosk, which is accessible at www.keysdiscovery.com/exhibits.
The first week’s content will focus on Legends of the Line, which details the history of fishing in the Upper Keys, from 1915 through the 1960s.
Following weeks will include:
Week of May 25- Stories of the Upper Keys: Communities of Key Largo
Week of June 1- Stories of the Upper Keys: Plantation Key through Long Key
Week of June 8- Stories of the Upper Keys: The Hurricane Edition
The online access is another method by which the Discovery Center staff is providing online access to the museum and offering lessons specific to Upper Keys history and ecology, during the COVID-19 pandemic.
