Key West Tropical Forest & Botanical Garden is Open

KEY WEST, THE FLORIDA KEYS – The 15-acre Key West Tropical Forest and Botanical Garden remains open to visitors every day 10am– 4pm.   Due to the hardships that business closures are putting on our community, all visitors are welcome free of charge. Special events, except the 3rd Saturday of the month plant sale on March 21st and April 18th, have been cancelled.  However, we will continue to gift our community with the great outdoors!  

It is the best time ever to rediscover the healing powers of immersion in nature, from improving our moods to boosting our immune systems.   The Courtyard with waterfall offers a spacious area with tables for lunches, the six game tables are available for games of chess, checkers, etc. and the Boardwalk and Forest trails are shady and cool.  The turtles in our two ponds are also fond of visitors. As long as we are able, we will continue to share this perfect prescription with our guests. Our Staff will be present, with waves from a safe distance.

Visit this unique ecosystem!  Be safe!  Be occasionally relaxed!   The Key West Botanical Garden Society, Inc. is a registered 501 (c) 3 nonprofit corporation.   Donations are appreciated and directly benefit the Garden’s conservation program.
