Body found of homeless man found in Boot Key Harbor 

A man’s body was found floating in Boot Key Harbor Wednesday afternoon.

His name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

Foul play does not appear to be a factor in the man’s death.

Deputy Desililes Mompoint responded to the end of 15^th Street at 5:42 p.m. after receiving reports of a body in the water. Detectives and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission arrived shortly thereafter.

Autopsy reports are pending.
