Key West Mayor Teri Johnston participated in the 88th U.S. Conference of Mayors in Washington, D.C. last week.
Over 300 mayors of cities of all sizes — across a variety of regions representing all manner of demographic and socio-economic composition — worked side by side. Together they shared problems, discussed methods of improving conditions, and ways to create and catalyze positive change for the people they serve.
“America’s mayors,” said Mayor Johnston, “Democrats, Republicans, and Independents alike, came together in a collegial, cooperative, bipartisan manner to get things done.”
