Body removed from Boot Key Harbor 

The remains of 53-year-old homeless man were found floating in Boot Key Harbor Thursday morning off 15th Street in Marathon. 

The release of his name is pending notification of next-of-kin.

The remains were found about 50 yards offshore in the harbor by a mariner in a dinghy about 7:30 a.m.

There were no obvious signs of foul play.

Autopsy results are pending.
