Health Department Honors Retiring Clayton Lopez

On August 6, 2019, the Florida Department of Health in Monroe County honored Clayton Lopez who retires from the Florida Department of Health in Monroe County after serving almost 27 dedicated and loyal years. Clayton served in HIV Prevention,  facilitating in public awareness and training of employees and community partners on HIV testing and prevention services countywide.  He played a critical role in educating the community on the importance of knowing their status while decreasing stigma.  Clayton will be missed, but we know he will continue making a positive impact serving the community.
