League welcomes Hometown board members to Fifth Tuesday event

KEY WEST – The Lower Keys League of Women Voters welcomes Hometown board members Carol Schreck and Kimberley Denney to the League’s Fifth Tuesday event, 5:30 p.m., July 30, at Camille’s Restaurant, 1202 Simonton St. The public is invited to attend.

Schreck and Denney will discuss what makes good government and Hometown’s role in promoting good government in Key West and Monroe County. Upcoming 2020 election activities and Hometown’s mission, history and helpful website will be important topics.

Carol Schreck is aide to Monroe County Commissioner Heather Carruthers and Kimberly Denney is an editorial board member of the Key West Citizen.

The Lower Keys League of Women Voters is dedicated to fostering an informed, engaged electorate and to defending voters’ rights.
