Fringe Theater Donates to PAL
Fringe Theater today presented the Key West Police Athletic League a check for $400 following their “The Piano Lesson” fundraiser.
Chief Sean Brandenburg, Capt. Randy Smith and Lt. Kathleen Ream thanked Artistic Director Rebecca Tomlinson and Fringe President Janet Bengel for supporting the community’s youth.
PAL’s programs are designed to get children involved in sports and in educational programs. It provides a safe place where kids can go after school and on weekends. It encourages teamwork and strong self-esteem. Members of the Key West Police Department donate their time and effort to help with an array of programs that include boxing and basketball. PAL supports computer classes after school and provides entertaining and educational camps during the summer and on holidays.
