2019 STATE OF THE COUNTY ANNUAL REPORT AND INFORMATION GUIDE NOW AVAILABLE AT COUNTY LIBRARIES, GOVERNMENT BUILDINGS AND ONLINE

The 2019 State of the County Annual Report and Information Guide is now available at Monroe County libraries and government buildings. It also is available on the County website at www.monroecounty-fl.gov/stateofthecounty2019.

The annual report highlights Monroe County’s accomplishments in 2018 and the County’s goals for 2019. It features information about the Board of County Commissioners, the County’s Administrator and 22 departments, ways to stay connected with Monroe County, budget information, hurricane preparedness and recovery, and more.

This year, the guide includes “evergreen” information on how government works at the local, state and federal levels in the Keys, the responsibilities and contact information of the five Constitutional Offices, and contact information for a variety of government agencies, utilities and schools in Monroe County.

“In this year’s annual report, we added more information about the entire County to help citizens and business owners better navigate all the government agencies and other entities that serve them,” said Monroe County Public Information Officer Cammy Clark, who produced the 2019 annual report. “It’s something you can keep on your desk as a reference all year.”
