Key West Academy Outstanding Student Of The Month

Key West Collegiate Academy (KWCA) has selected Verity Pond, junior at KWCA, as this month’s Outstanding Student. Her achievements are many including; perfect attendance, grade point average of 4.45, and she is currently attending two duel enrollment classes at Florida Keys Community College (FKCC). She already has 12 college credits and is expected to have 18 college credits by the end of the school year! Next year she will be working on obtaining an associate’s degree. She has recently been elected as KWCA class president and is being considered for election to the national student board for Somerset Academy Student Government. After she graduates from KWCA, she plans on pursuing a course of study in business management. Verity, you rock!

Key West Collegiate Academy is a no cost Monroe County Public Charter High School located on the beautiful FKCC campus. KWCA features small class sizes and individual attention with certified staff who have both college and high school level teaching experience.
