Key West Poetry Guild Monthly Open Mic Returns to the Library
Local poets of Key West meet on the first Sunday of every month at 7 pm to share their work and support each others’ artistic efforts. This month we return to the Key West Public Library, on the corner of Elizabeth and Fleming. All meetings are free and open to the public to join and/or listen. Come one and all and expose yourself to the world at B.O.’s Fishwagon open mic night every Friday night at 7pm, broadcasting on 104.9 The X, on the corner of Caroline and William Streets in Key West,. Every show is broadcast on local radio and over the internet via TheXKeyWest.com to an international audience. All local artists with an audio-based performance style are encouraged to attend and self-promote.
Call for Submissions from Florida Keys Authors and Poets
Decimos-We Say is calling for authors and poets of the Florida Keys, Key West to Key Largo, to submit their work to our monthly magazine which also enrolls the writer in our annual Editors Choice Awards. Finalists will be included in an anthology, grand prize winner will receive a book deal. Submissions are accepted continuously at decimos.org. Issues are available at local bookstores and on most online outlets.
