First State Bank and Turtle Hospital Host Marathon Chamber

First State Bank of the Florida Keys and the Turtle Hospital co-hosted the Marathon Chamber of Commerce April Business After Hours event at the Turtle Hospital in Marathon.

Working together, the two organizations welcomed the Middle Keys business community, to a celebration of the two organizations many decades of service exclusively to the Florida Keys community and featured tours of the Turtle Hospital and tanks, information on the Bank’s Treasury Management and business services, 50/50 raffles, food and spirits, and live entertainment by local artist, Adrianne.  An announcement by the Hospital’s founder, Richie Moretti, added a celebratory air to the evening – the facility’s deed is now permanently restricted to remain a place for turtle care and rehabilitation.   

“We were honored to join our friends at the Turtle Hospital in support of our local Chamber,” said Jeff Smith, First State Bank of the Florida Keys SVP/Senior Lending Officer.  “The Chamber events always provide such a valuable opportunity to connect with fellow businesses.”

The monthly event allows local business members of the Marathon Chamber of Commerce to network and interact in a relaxed and casual environment.
